When dry this limestone gravel is a mostly a light grey colour. When it’s wet it can display many shades of grey from light to dark. This aggregate is sometimes known by other names like Dove Grey Gravel or Dove Grey Limestone Gravel. The mix can vary due to the changes in the rock seam during mining. This is the smallest grade of grey limestone aggregate. It can be used for decorative purposes or for more practical uses like in drainage systems. This size is particular good for rockeries and Alpine gardens. It can provide a nice contrast in colourful planted areas of your garden due to it’s neutral tone.
